The Rail System
What exactly is the RAILRUNR rail system?
The RAILRUNR rail system is a patent-pending system that can be integrated into wearables (hip packs, harnesses, and backpacks) or mounted to existing structures, allowing for rapid access and organization of gear and supplies. In practice: An operator wearing the rail system in a hip pack can reposition their pouch to access their gear without stopping, unslinging, or using both hands.
How is this different from a standard sling bag or chest rig?
A sling bag rotates around a single fixed strap point — meaning the harness moves with the bag, and you lose the carry position every time you access it. A chest rig is fixed in one position. The RAILRUNR system keeps the harness locked to your body while only the bag body moves. You never lose your carry position. You never unsling. The bag goes where you need it, then returns — without stopping.
Is there a learning curve to using the rail system?
Minimal. Most users are operating the system instinctively within the first use. The motion is intuitive — pull, reposition, access, return. We recommend running through the motion a few times at home before field use so it becomes muscle memory.
Can the rail system fail or jam under pressure?
The rail system is built to operate under load, in adverse conditions, and with gloves on. Like all mechanical systems, it requires basic maintenance — keeping the track clear of debris and ensuring the rail remains unobstructed.
What materials is the bag made from?
Every material was selected for performance under sustained field use — not for weight reduction at the cost of durability. Full material specifications including fabric weight, zipper grade, and hardware rating are listed on the product page.
Is the bag waterproof?
The outer fabric is water-resistant. In heavy sustained rain we recommend a rain cover for full contents protection. The rail system hardware is treated for corrosion resistance and will not degrade from water exposure under normal field conditions.
How much weight can the bag carry safely?
The bag is rated to carry substantial field loads comfortably within the harness system. Exceeding the rated load is not recommended — harness ergonomics degrade significantly above the threshold and sustained overloading affects the zipper track over time. How do I clean and maintain the bag?
Spot clean the exterior with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not machine wash — it degrades the fabric treatment and hardware. The zipper track should be cleared of debris after field use and lubricated with a zipper wax or silicone lubricant periodically. Full care guide is included in the box.

How do I know which size or configuration is right for me?

Can the harness be worn over body armor or plate carriers?
Yes. The RAILRUNR harness was designed with layered carry in mind. Fit may vary depending on the thickness and profile of your armor — we recommend a test fit before operational deployment. Contact us if you have questions about compatibility with specific setups.
Shipping & Returns
Where do you ship?
We currently ship domestically. Contact us for international shipping inquiries.
How long does shipping take?
Standard orders ship within 2–3 business days. Expedited options are available at checkout. You'll receive a tracking number as soon as your order leaves our facility.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for unused items in original condition. If the product has been field-used and there's a defect or failure, that may fall under warranty — not returns. Contact our support team directly and we'll make it right. We don't make returning gear harder than it needs to be.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Document the damage with photos and contact us within 7 days of delivery. We'll arrange a replacement or refund with no runaround. Gear that leaves our facility damaged is our responsibility — full stop.
Warranty
What does the RAILRUNR warranty cover?
Every RAILRUNR product is covered by our warranty against manufacturing defects, hardware failure, and rail system malfunction under normal field use. This includes the zipper track, harness hardware, buckles, and stitching.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Contact us through the Support page with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos if possible. Valid claims are handled with a repair or replacement — whichever gets you back in the field faster.
Does the warranty transfer if I give or sell the bag to someone else?
Contact us with the original order number to discuss warranty transfer options.

Do you offer pricing for units, agencies, or departments?
Yes. We work directly with military units, law enforcement agencies, and first responder organizations on volume pricing. Contact us through the Wholesale page to start a conversation.
Can we request a demo or evaluation unit before committing to a bulk order?
Yes. We offer evaluation units for qualifying agencies and units. Contact us with your organization name, role, and intended use case and we'll discuss evaluation options. We'd rather you test the gear in your environment than order blind.
Can products be customized with unit patches, logos, or specific colorways?
Custom configurations are available for qualifying bulk orders including colorway options, patch compatibility, and logo placement. Contact us to discuss specifications and lead times.
